Group admins can now control notifications for group members using the tab on the group page.
Admins have the ability to send notifications to all group members if needed, and users can control their own notification settings.

I’ve updated both the WordPress and BuddyPress versions to the latest available… BuddyPress is now RC (No longer Beta)
Unfortunately, it seems to have jacked some of the functionality…
I’m researching the issues.
